I would like to take the time to thank you for taking time out of your day to stop and view this website and find out a little bit about me and why Blanco County is so special to me.

Blanco County is very near and dear to my heart. I have lived in Blanco for most of my life. I am a third generation BHS graduate and this year, our youngest daughter, will follow in the footsteps of her grandpa, mom, uncle and 2 older sisters as she graduates from BHS.

I am a Proud Texan. I was born in LaGrange, Texas. My family moved to Blanco when I was four years old and it has been home ever since.  Over the years friends have turned into family.

All of these years we have seen many wins and celebrated newborns along with losses and tragedies, together.  We celebrate together and are devastated together and we always come out BLANCO COUNTY STRONG.

This county has a strong Christian faith, conservative values, patriotism, and always ready to lend a helping hand.

I thank you for your trust and support in me for the past 7 years to work for you and with you and I would like to once again ask for your support in my re-election campaign as your County Clerk to serve Blanco County.

I have been an employee of Blanco County since May 2002. I began as the Indigent Health Care Coordinator. During this time, I began helping the County Clerk with election duties as needed. I would fill in at the Clerk’s office from time to time.  I was asked if I would be interested in a position in her office. I jumped at the chance, as I knew I would learn so much about the County and the people that loved it as much as I did.  Little did I know that the Clerk’s office did everything that they did.

This office handles marriage licenses, birth and death certificates of these events that take place in Blanco County, including:

Being responsible for Commissioners’ Court meeting minutes.

Recording and maintaining all land records for the County in the Clerk’s office. These records are available online.

Being responsible for all plat maps that are filed and maintained.  These are available online.

Issuing marriage license applications, which can be done online;  the couple comes in to complete application and purchase the license.

Being responsible for certified copies of records, which can be purchased online and received immediately by purchaser.

Turn around time for filing documents is immediate.  If the filer walks the document in, they will get it right back. No lost documents in the mail.

Filers of land documents can do so online via a filing company that we work with, CSC. This makes the filing simple.

Preserved all County Commissioner books

All land records back to sovereignty are available online.

LIvestock Brands/Tags are filed with the clerk’s office and sent in to the Cattle Raisers Association.

Communication with Funeral Homes all over the state for Death Certificates and Burial Transit permits.

Communication with the Justice of the Peace offices for various matters.

Communication with Title Companies

Communication with Blanco County Appraisal District

Much communication with the County Attorney and County Judge’s office for scheduling and court related information.
